Autumnsaints.org is a web page that offers you a place to talk openly about your aging process. In a society that focuses on staying young, we have missed the joy and value of growing older. It is our belief that the third stage of life (approximately 60-80 years old) is a time of evaluation, forgiveness, sharing what we've learned, and growing closer to God. The third stage is followed (oddly enough) by the fourth stage which is called the frail elderly. As you can imagine people age at different rates so someone may be in the frail elderly in their early seventies, and other may still be in stage three in their early nineties. It is the hope of Autumn Saint that this third stage of growth will set the tone and groundwork for the fourth stage. Dying should be a passing into the arms of the One we have grown to love deeply. Third stage is the time to deepen that love! Saints Alive! |
